2023 Fall Mini-Sessions

Thank you for your interest in booking a mini-session with me. I’m honored you have come here, and I hope to provide you with all the information you need, so please read below before clicking through to my scheduler.
Step 1: Booking
In order to reserve your mini-session time, you will sign some paperwork and pay a nonrefundable deposit (booking fee) of $100. This fee covers the cost of my time and talent during your session and post-session editing. It does not cover the cost of any prints, products, or digital images.
Step 2: The Session Itself
Your mini-session will include approximately 15 minutes of photography time. I schedule sessions at 30-minute increments to allow for a little "warm-up" and "cool down" from the session, as well as some time for me to get ready for my next session. Sessions will be located at Lake Raleigh on NC State’s Centennial Campus in Raleigh NC, one of my favorite places in the area.
When you book your session, I will send over a Mini-Session Prep Guide detailing some additional tips and information to help you get ready for your session. Your mini-session will be fun and laid-back, like a stroll in the park (quite literally at some points).
Step 3: The Fun Part!
Within 2 weeks of your session, you'll receive an email from me letting you know that your gallery preview is ready. Once you've had a chance to see your photos in your gallery preview and marvel for a bit, you'll be able to select and purchase your collection. After that, you'll have access to your gallery for two weeks to select the specific digital files and print items you want to use to fill that collection.

$50 print credit good toward your choice of anything in the gallery store.

$100 print credit good toward your choice of anything in the gallery store.

All 15 high-resolution digital image downloads in your gallery

What you're going to do with your images is an important aspect to consider when you're planning for a mini-session, but it's all too often the aspect that's overlooked. With your time and money invested, you deserve a better return than photos gathering dust on a hard drive. You'll never get the same feeling looking at your photos on a screen as you will seeing them on your wall or sharing them with friends and family, so I include a print credit with every collection. Ornaments

Matted Frames
Giclee print on 100% cotton Museum Etching paper, mounted with a Museum Rag 8 ply mat board permanently backed with an acid free puncture resistant paper. Pre-assembled and ready to hang. Frame choices include barnwood, white, black, walnut, and natural wood.

FAQs
What is your COVID/illness policy?
I have a flexible rescheduling policy for sickness - not only do I want everyone feeling their best on the day of your session, but I also have a baby at home, and don’t want to be transmitting anything transmittable. For COVID in particular, I require a 2-week quarantine period if any member of the family tests positive for COVID, and subsequent negative tests from all family members.
Can we include our pets?
Absolutely! The location allows leashed pets, and I would love to meet your furry members of the family. Please just let me know ahead of time so I can be sure to offer extra tips and expectations.
Are the collections customizable?
Due to the nature of my gallery system, I am not able to modify the amount of print credit or number of digitals in any of my collections. Luckily, I do have individual image downloads and the slideshow available in the gallery store for purchase, and if after visiting your gallery, you decide you’d like to upgrade your collection, you are also able to do that directly in the gallery store.
