Photography Sessions
My goal is to come to where you are, without interruption or judgment, and document the beautiful little moments that make up the fabric of everyday life. My hope is that your images bring you joy and provide future generations with timeless photographs.
How it Works

01. Connect
It all begins with a connection. I start every inquiry with a 20-minute scheduled phone call to get to know each other, and discuss your vision and what you’re hoping to get out of your photography session. We will then discuss how we can accomplish our goals together!

02. Collaborate
Our next step is to start planning what your photography session will look like. To make sure your session is tailored to you and your family, you'll receive a questionnaire to fill out prior to your session. Additionally, my photo session guide comes free with every session, which includes lots of information and tips to prepare for your session.

03. Create
After all of the planning, we get to the day of your session feeling relaxed, prepared, and excited to see the fruits of our labor come to life! It will be relaxing, it will be fun, and it will most certainly be full of love. Here, we will create some magic together.

04. Choose
This is truly the fun part of the session. You’ll receive a slideshow of your images set to music, and get the opportunity to choose a collection of digital downloads plus print credit. You’ll get access to your photo gallery and store, where you’ll find beautiful professional-quality prints, albums, and gifts.

Given the beautiful colors and temperate weather, spring and fall are the busiest times of year for outdoor family photos in North Carolina. If you'd like a session during one of those times (especially if you want a weekend spot), please get in touch as soon as possible! If you have a particular date or holiday by which you need prints or gifts (Mother's Day, Father's Day, Hanukkah, Christmas, etc.), be sure to book a date at least one month in advance of that date to ensure sufficient processing and printing time.

I recommend that sessions take place at your home, so that you have everything you need to be comfortable at your fingertips. We’ll do some indoor photos, and then pop outside your home to your yard or a favorite local spot and have some fun. If you’d like to have your session other than your home instead (outdoor-only), I’m happy to provide some suggestions of beautiful places around the area.

I am a natural light photographer, so I will put emphasis on the time that our sessions take place. Mornings and evenings are preferred to harsh midday light. But I will ultimately leave it up to your family to decide if mornings or evenings work best for you.

I require a session fee of $300 to book your session, and collections start at $700.

I do! I typically offer mini-sessions at an outdoor location in the fall. Sessions typically get booked up pretty quickly, so make sure you sign up for my newsletter below so you’re alerted when booking goes live!
